At last the storm broke and what was left of the Ra' Hage limped back into the sky. Humanity had won the day and the horror of extinction had finally united us in the dream of one race. We embraced one another and began to rebuild amongst the explosion of a baby boom.

Years went by and two generations grew up, but strangely very few had passed. Curiously, many who would have died and turned to dust long ago seemed to have aged only a few years. Upon further examination it was discovered that though the effects of the Ra' Hage's biological enhancers had worn off, it had granted a kind of prolonged life to the soldiers who used them. During the population explosion, those men and women had genetically passed the same trait, to a lesser extent, onto their offspring. Even now it is unclear as to what a normal human life span really is. Know that a few hundred years have passed since the last war ended and yet some veterans remain to this day looking to be no more than fifty to sixty years old.

With no one to left to fight, humanity’s gaze turned once more to the stars. Our bodies seemed right and toughened now for space, but opinions were split as to whether we should leave Earth at all. Many feared the horror of bringing unwanted attention down upon our heads again. Others insisted that our prolonged life and overpopulation would destroy us in time anyway. Grudgingly, it was agreed that to ensure the survival of the species we must not put all of our eggs in one basket. With technology borrowed and improved upon from the Ra' Hage, we leapt into the stars. The journey brought us to other worlds with races unsympathetic to our cause. It was the Beluc that finally befriended us and helped us to settle on three worlds: Nar, Herok 6 (the Beluc's home planet) and Somar. Despite our friendly relations, Earth's location is not readily shared with outsiders. It is represented on the galactic map as V36-82 and is one of our most guarded treasures.
