Bradbury Flowers: Plant native to Somar that is distinguished by its blue-purple flecked flowers. Name is derived from a famous writer from Earth's past.

Brile: A high-tolerance alcohol accepted all over the galaxy as a beverage, currency and engine degreaser.

Oarnite: A resilient ore used in starship hauls and the main export of Somar. Primarily mined from four of the six moons that orbit the planet.

Danzinger Burrows: Small military trucks that act as the workhorses of the resistance. Most any human vehicle manufactured after the Ra' Hage war could be referred to by the generic slang term "Digz" and it would be understood that the vehicle runs on an engine developed with the basic principles of the Danzinger Equation, a formula developed by Lou David Danzinger that allows a merging of human and alien technology to be possible.

Doplicker: A small toad-like animal as well as an insult.

Eph: Curse word. Coming from the name Epheren Solfage who had been the high priest and lord of the Ra' Hage during the last war. His name had met with such disgust that it began to take on the traits of swearing.

Locma: A type of banana-like fruit used to make a milk shake type drink. Locma shakes made from an unripe fruit will frequently result in drunkenness.

Lucky Streak: Pudge’s ship, stolen by Krumm to fly back to Somar.
